Future Fics
Another month, another variety of things begun, in progress, and completed. Another month to look at that daunting list of current projects and wonder, how did I get myself into this mess? *laughs*
So let's start with what sorts of things are upcoming, shall we? Due to my recent and rising obsession with Superman/Batman and encouragement from readers, I've finally scrapped up the courage to write something longer than a flash fic. Go me! I know have two oneshots that are completed and awaiting the eyes of an editor, whomever volunteers first from the four that I "employ", and the latter of the two oneshots has the potential to turn into a series. Happy times!
I've also managed to finish a fourth update to my Final Fantasy VII, SephTseng series Head Over Feet, and I started working on a fifth. Thank Kuromei for this, as she prodded me into adding more ficcage to my very-neglected fandom.
I've been focusing on The Beautiful Lie as well, in hopes of getting it completed. Writing-wise, I only have about ninemore chapters to complete, the full listing of upcoming chapters can be found on my homesite here. Not much longer now! Also, the fanmix has been completed for TBL, so I'll be making that available soon.
Expectant fans of my promised Bleach fic Past Imperfect (Ichigo/Kisuke) rejoice because I've started writing it. The style is similar to Buyer's Remorse, in that it has short, vivid scenes, but it's already looking to be quite the doozy. I only work on it in spurts, however, in between finishing up TBL and getting back to work on The Butterfly Effect. azardarkstar for that, she's the one who poked and prodded me into it. *grins*
Original wise... I'm submitting In Darkness Dwells to Torquere Press today. Fingers crossed that they'll accept it. I'm very happy to label another fic as complete. Synesthesia's first draft is also done, and is right now, being sent to beta. Expect some edited chapters to replace those already posted and for future chapters to come nice and tidy. I've gleefully obtained an editor for my A Thousand Words series, and have two new oneshots coming for that so be looking for those.
I'm spending most of my effort on writing The Break of Day to keep up with twice monthly postings. I intend to get back to writing War of the Animum as Wolf in the Fold is long overdue for an update. I also have an original oneshot in the works, sent in my The Mimickers universe as a gift fic to the 8888th visitor to my website.
And during my overdue vacation a couple weeks ago, I came up with a cracky crossover idea for my original fics. You'll start seeing snippets of that in future posting as well. As soon as I wrap my head around what other amusing situations I can torment my characters with.
Whew. I think that's everything, Though I probably missed something. *laughs* I inevitably do. Hopefully, in a month, I can report back as having competed some of this in-progress stuff!
