Monthly Update
Good afternoon everyone! It's become a habit that I put up a post once a month to let everyone know what I'm working on. So I thought I'd continue that tradition today.
As of late, I've been intensely focusing on The Beautiful Lie. I am Determined to get this fic written and complete. Lucky me, I now have three chapters left (two plus an epilogue) and I know exactly where it's going. With any luck (and RL cooperating) I can have TBL finished by the end of July. Then all I'll have left is to wait on the beta. So right now, I'm focusing solely on TBL.
After I finish that up, I plan on sitting down and writing the two, short, oneshot-length request pieces I owe to Hit Count winners from my two websites. I anticipate those not taking any time at all, and I can happily cross them off my to do list.
From there, It'll become necessary to work on The Break of Day. I don't have any more chapters completely written, so I'll have to buckle down and write, write, write. I doubt I'll have some ready for next freeficfriday, so we'll be seeing chapters of Whispers of Yesterday until I get some more work done on The Break of Day.
And THEN, once I finally have all that caught up, I can take a look at my lengthy list of incomplete and choose where to go from there. That list includes: Fanfiction -- The Butterfly Effect, Seireitei Monogatari drabbles, Minutes to Midnight lingering drabbles, along with occasionally adding bits to Past Imperfect. Original Fiction -- Shady Hill and War of the Animum: Wolf in the Fold (in desperate need of an update, this one is).
Also, I'd like to confirm that I AM going to be participating in the SuperBat Big Bang this year. I decided to go ahead and do that. So I'll be writing a Superman/Batman fanfiction for that. I actually came up with TWO plots, but one of them is far too long, so it's going to stand on it's own and I'll start working on that. It's more angsty and serious. Whereas my Big Bang fic is going to be humorously romantic. Fun times!
There's also an ever-growing list of upcoming fiction, and NaNoWriMo 2011 to contend with, but I'll deal with those as soon as I clamp down on some of these other fics. Busy times ahead!
