Movie Thoughts
This is probably akin to screaming in the void, but I have to scream somewhere. XD
Now, I loved X-Men: First Class and I adored X-Men: Days of Future Past and I went into X-Men: Apocalypse with an open mind, fully convinced I was going to love it.
I didn't.
It was terrible. What the hell. Absolutely awful. I looked at the clock, saw two hours had gone by and wtf, it wasn't over yet? That's how awful it was. So much of it was contrived. So much of it didn't mesh with the previous films. So much bad acting. So much shoehorning. So much blah.
And yes, I know I'm late to the party. I'm still catching up on all the movies I missed whilst shackled to my laptop writing.
On the other hand, Moana was fricking AMAZING and I've watched it twice already, I enjoyed Star Trek Beyond though maybe not as much as the other two, I didn't consider it a waste of my time like XMen: Apocalypse, and Doctor Strange was pretty bland and uninteresting, but I've never been a super huge Marvel fan anyway. -shrugs- Still gotta watch Assassin's Creed because woohoo entertainment! And I'm still trying to convince someone to come see Alien: Covenant with me.
LEGO: BATMAN WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY YEAR HANDS DOWN.
