dracoqueen22Well, to catch you up on what's been going on with me, I'll start with my laptop situation. My own Toshiba is still in the shop. My harddrive refuses to reimage -- whatever the hell that means. But at least I have my mother's laptop again and can contact people. Huzzah! So updates should resume... well, updates for whatever happens to be on this meager flash drive. Some items I'll have no access to until the new case for my external hard drive arrives (the old case happened to break down at the same time as my laptop, go figure). Updates may still be a little touch and go.
In the meantime, handwriting In Darkness Dwells has proven to be very, very useful. It's almost done! I'm writing the last chapter as we speak, and typing up the rest of them little by little. Once I write in those final words, I can stamp it complete and start on the next handwritten fic, which will be finishing up Synesthesia, my paranormal murder-mystery which I've recently made available on LJ. Look for snippets and surprises from In Darkness Dwells in future posts.
Tomorrow I'm starting Flash Fiction Fridays! Each Friday (or every other Friday depending on the volume received or my work schedule), I plan on opening up a request flash fiction queue. Pick a pairing and a fandom (original or not) and I'll write you a piece of flash fiction. Just a small way to say thanks to my readers and also get my writerly fingers a-going. I'll elaborate more on this tomorrow.

Shady Hill's still a bust since I can't access those notes properly, but I'm hoping to get some work done on it before November ends. The return of fanfiction should also be rather soon. I'm working on my UraAizen series, now appropriately named "A Thousand Suns" and is better recognized as consisting of "Anthem of Our Dying Day", "Tomorrow in a Bottle", soon to come "Burning in the Skies" and now a fourth in the series, "Iridescent". *grins* It's a killer plot and I'm very, very fond of it. The Beautiful Lie is also seeing some progress. I've got a run of seven chapters or so that are in various stages of completion. I'll start work on those in December.
Both Walking Delusions and Prisoner of Conscience are going through intense edits as we speak, and Aftermath is in the final stages of revision. Pretty soon, it should be sent out to various agents and/or publishing companies willing to accept unsolicited manuscripts. Hopefully, someone will bite the bait and take a chance.
