Disappointing News

But! A bit of hope. It wasn't a complete rejection. At least they didn't say my story sucked. Just that they aren't looking for romantic fantasy, which confused me a bit, but that's okay. I guess I'll try sending something else in the distant future if I manage to write something that fits into their calls for submission. Le sigh.
Back to the drawing board.
Unfortunately, all of the other available publishers require the manuscript to be less than 120K. Which means... yes, back to editing. I need to rip 24K out of The Requiem of Janus before I can submit it anywhere else. Que triste.
I really don't know how I'm going to do this.
Perhaps I can convince my lovely beta friend for The Sweetest Downfall to give me a hand....
