a/n: This is actually a flash fiction fill but it ended up three times as long as your normal flash fiction so I decided to post it as a ficlet/oneshot. This is for ancientlybroken and the prompt Optimus/Megatron, I hate you.
It's not beta'ed, it's full of incomplete sentences, but that, at least, was intentional. The comma errors were not. *laughs*

Monthly Update
Dec. 1st, 2011 06:49 pmFirst of the month, the perfect time to talk about goals! November was a busy time itself and December's looking to be just as crammed.
I plan to finish Event Horizon (which has maybe two chapters left to write. Possibly three) and the first part of The Break of Day. I also plan to finally finish this birthday fic I've owed since October. Gah, I swear I do this every year. I never get these birthday fics done on time. I intend to update Wolf in the Fold as well, if not finish it (though I don't think that's gonna happen). And last, but not least, I plan on writing the last seven drabbles in Seireitei Monogatari so I can stamp complete on it, too. I'm still lacking in plots/ideas for it though, so that'll be the challenge.
Nice reminder, too: Here in about 470 hits will be the 60000 count on my fanfiction website. Grab that 60K hit and get a oneshot of your choice of pairing, fandom, scenario, the works. I only ask that you limit the fandom to one that I actually know. Oh, and there's about 375 hits until someone can request an original fiction, either based on one of my universes or one of your own devising. No one snagged the 10K so no one got a free copy of any of my fics, but 11K will be up for grabs soon.
Hmm. I think that's all. Back to writing, plotting, working, Oh! And don't forget, tomorrow is the return of Flash Fic Friday!

a/n: At last! I have written a longer length Superman/Batman fic. Bwa ha ha! Okay... so it's not an epic, but it's a full two pages longer than a flash fiction and it has its own post and everything. Fanfic Rec: Samurai Champloo
Mar. 31st, 2011 08:15 pmSamurai Champloo was one of the first fandoms I ever wrote for. And now I cringe at the terrible-ness that was my first fics, but still, it was one of the first fandoms I fell in love with. I snapped up fiction as eagerly as I could. I thought everything was AWESOME.
Since then, my tastes have matured a bit and a lot of those stories proved to be not as good as I originally thought they were. But in the past five years, there is one author who remains in my favorites, whose stories have proven so well-written that I re-read them quite often, just because I enjoy them so much.
That author is Laura Bryannan.

Well, to catch you up on what's been going on with me, I'll start with my laptop situation. My own Toshiba is still in the shop. My harddrive refuses to reimage -- whatever the hell that means. But at least I have my mother's laptop again and can contact people. Huzzah! So updates should resume... well, updates for whatever happens to be on this meager flash drive. Some items I'll have no access to until the new case for my external hard drive arrives (the old case happened to break down at the same time as my laptop, go figure). Updates may still be a little touch and go.

Firstly, no one snagged the chance for a free copy of one of my books for Draco's Debauchery. The new hit that visitors are aiming for is #6666 across the board, and then after that #7000. Hits are up this month because of the contest being run through Torquere Press, so check more frequently than you usually might if you're interested in winning those free copies.

Old (and not so old) Stories
Sep. 7th, 2010 11:51 pmWandering around today, trying to decide what to work on, I started thinking about my older stories. That and someone else mentioned them as well.
I wondered, would anyone be interested in seeing them on LJ? Would it be a benefit if I started posting those fics (available on ffnet and my homesite) here on LJ? And if so, was there one in specific you would like to see? Or just fics in general, for that matter? I've a wide range of fanfiction and original fiction though some of the much older stuff is not up to my current standards. *winces at the thought of Samurai Champloo series*
Also, as a LJ newbie, I wondered about etiquette on communities as well. Would it be rude of me to point out the existence of already completed fics on a community I'm a member of? Or shall I stick with only posting new stories?
Thoughts?
