Projects Update

dracoqueen22It's that time again. Time for another update on what I'm working on, what's soon to come, and what's taking up all my time. I know there are some people that like to see what's on the agenda. *grins*
First off, let's talk fanfiction. It's the shorter of the lists.
I've not given up on The Butterfly Effect. It's just on a temporary hiatus until I can find some free time. Never fear!
Regarding The Beautiful Lie, Azar and I are going to do some serious plotting on this when she comes to visit in May so as soon as we do, I'll be working like a mad beast to get it finished. She wrote a stunningly beautiful Interlude for the next update and I still have a few chapters that are almost ready for posting. More chapters are on the way!
I also have a new fic I'll be bringing to you soon. It's something I owe mandalee1013 from back in October -- *hangs head in shame * -- that I've finally finished and sent to beta. Just waiting on the edited chapters to come back to me. It's called Playing with Fire and it's a fun, smutty fic with some Shinji/Renji, Urahara/Shinji and Urahara/Ichigo just to spice things up. I think you guys will like it. I'll be posting that soon as well.
Now, let's talk original fiction.
I'm in the plot edit stage of In Darkness Dwells and once I'm sure that's up to snuff, I'm switching to the grammar and sentence structure edit stage. Once that's done, it's off toward submission. My goal is May 1st. Hopefully, by June, I'll have an answer. *crosses fingers*
I've not abandoned my War of the Animum series. I'm still working on Wolf in the Fold along with the re-edits of the older pieces. I just am struggling to find time to write it. It's looking like June is going to be devoted to finishing up The Beautiful Lie and adding a LOT of chapters to Wolf in the Fold. So you'll have an update by July. I promise.
In that vein, I've recently finished Synesthesia, the fic that I've chosen to write by hand and then later convert to the laptop for posting. It's one of many ways I have of completing a story. Now that SYN is done, I'm going to type it up, edit, fix it up and start thinking of where I can sub it. In the meantime, a new fic has to take SYN's place in my handwritten line up. The fic I've chosen for that is Fayre's Fury, a comedy fantasy about four men who piss off a fairy and are cursed to switch bodies every four weeks (on the Full Moon). Fayre's Fury is their journey to find Druznilda, the fairy, and get the curse removed. Along the way, they encounter many amusing situations. There's also plenty of sex (het and slash), violence, and cursing to light the way.
You can read the first chapter on my homesite, but it's about three years old and definitely going to be rewritten. It's confusing and jumbled and could stand a better hand. So it will disappear soon.
Also, starting May 1st, I'll begin my mid-year NaNo with my slashy romance The Nameless which I'm in the process of plotting and world-building at this moment. Hopefully, after thirty days, this story will be complete and ready to send out for editing, opinions, etc.
Until May 1st, I'll primarily be focusing on The Break of Day, building up chapters for it, and world-building both The Nameless and Fayre's Fury. I'm quite the busy bee and I like it that way.
