Fanfic Rec: Final Fantasy VIII

Today I bring you another recommendation for good fanfiction! I don't know if anyone on my f-list enjoys the Final Fantasy series or fanfiction, but it was where I got my start so it holds a special place in my heart. I was VERY involved with FFVII but I only dipped my toes into FFVIII, more a reader than a writer.
BUT! I gathered quite a collection of fics that are good, standing even the test of time. One such author that I found was sukunami. She writes mainly Seifer/Squall, but a few other pairings occasionally work their way into her work. She writes a lot of AU though she does have some in-game fics, too. She also has a couple that reference Kingdom Hearts. There are a bunch of various length. There are a couple m-pregs -- and I don't even like m-preg, but I like hers. Most of her fics are first-person, and she's one of the few writers of first-person I can read. Some of them are third person as well.
A few of my favorites are:
Blind Sight -- a long chaptered fic in which Squall is a blind seer and Seifer the Hero Squall is required to lead to his destiny.
For Nothing, For Everything -- another long chaptered fic in which there is m-preg, but it's not a big focus. It's more a thing of the past. Seifer is forced to raise the unexpected son found on his doorstep, and Squall shows up at some point later, to be a "nanny" of sorts for said son. Little does Seifer know, but Squall is the mother/other father. Damn alcohol! It's better than my crap summary sounds.
Game Restart -- in which Squall is sent back to the beginning of FF8 to try and prevent the war. I like the way she handled this concept. It's completed at five chapters.
Game Restart: New Platform -- THIS. This is the one with Kingdom Hearts. And I adore how this was done. We see Leon finding Seifer in the Twilight world. Not only that, it references Game Restart.
One Wrong Step -- is her current in-progress fic. It's another AU where Seifer is the one down on his luck and Squall's the bad ass private detective who takes Seifer in as a charity case. Seifer also has ISSUES that make for delicious angst.
