Updates for April and a Prompt Fest

dracoqueen22Hello all! March was a quiet month for me, I must admit. Full of migraines and busy work schedules and frantically trying to complete War Without End (tragically, I did not succeed, though I did get much done).
April, I hope, runs smoothly. What's on the agenda, you may ask. I have five goals I wish to tackle.
First and foremost, I want to complete my SciFiBigBang fic by at least half. I don't know how long it's going to be yet. I aimed for 10k but with the plot I got, it's probably going to surpass the 25K. I finally figured out my plot, too. I'm going with a prompt from the fantastic fuzipenguin involving an AU fic in which Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were raised separately, without knowledge of each other or that they are twins. It will also star Tracks, Smokescreen, and Swindle, to name a few. Surprise pairings galore!
Secondly, I've got a SunstreakerxSideswipexTrailbreaker sitting on my desktop, half-finished and just waiting to be completed. I intend to tackle that.
Original-wise, I want to finish two interludes from War of the Animum and finish three chapters for Nycthemeron (which is the final story in the Infinity's End trilogy)
And last but not least, I intend to initiate Prompt-a-Palooza. Heh. And while it's a cheesy title, it's guaranteed to be loads of fun. I'll post information about what exactly it is later today when I get off work. It'll be post-dated for April 30th so it might not show up in the Friends feed. Keep an eye out!
What news of fics in progress? Well, Critical Mass is still a bit stalled. I'm struggling with a couple of plot points and I might be seeking out someone to bounce ideas off if it gets any worse. I've got six chapters good to go, but I can't keep going until I know where it's going. All I know so far is... Critical Mass is going to end but it'll mark the end of the second fic in what's going to be a trilogy. Aye-yi-yi.
Apple a Day is not forgotten. It awaits a moment for the muses to give me the right push and opening line to get the next few updates going.
War Without End is almost there. I've finished Prowl, Optimus, and Lennox, which are being shipped to Azar for beta'ing through April. I intend to get the last scene done in Thundercracker by then, too. I'm about 2/5 done with Skywarp. All that remains is Drift and Sideswipe.
And watch the author babble. Lol
