Mayhem in May

dracoqueen22April was a largely successful month for me. I finished some fics. Finished editing others. Made some rather substantial life decisions. So on and such forth.
May is going to be busy.
I opened commissions again at the end of April so now I have a full queue again. I hope to finish at least three of them during May and definitely before my vacation at the end of the month. I’m also in the process of moving in with my mother. We’re combining households to save money and hopefully, actually start putting some in savings so we can move out of state in a couple of years.
Original book to read this month is “The Steel Remains” by Richard K. Morgan. Someone recommended this to me ages ago, but I can’t remember who or why. It’s been on my wishlist since 2013 or something like that. So I finally bought it and I’m going to sit down and read it.
I didn’t get around to looking into Patreon in April, so perhaps in May I can find the time to actually sit down and look at the terms, rules, process, etc.
Fics on tap for May, outside of commissions are… let’s see. I’m going to finish editing Walking the Wire, my last commission from my last batch. April inspired me to add a lot more to Despicable Me than I ever anticipated, so I’m going to work on it in May and see if I can’t get the rough draft finished. I’m also poking at Family Found, the second to last installment of the Escort AU. I’m considering putting some effort into All the Queen’s Treasure, too.
So I think that's it for May. Not much else because I do have the move and commissions on my plate, but we'll see what else happens. :)
