I'm In Love With...

dracoqueen22...Cillian Murphy.
Or better recognized as Jonathon Crane/Scarecrow from Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight films. Mr. Murphy has some amazing eyes, I'm telling you. They are a bright blue and he knows how to use them. *whistles*
But seriously, my admiration of this actor started with the Batman movies. Then I saw him in Red Eye, where he stars with Rachel McAdams in a thriller and he seriously knows how to play a victim. He's both charming and terrifying all at once.
Then I watched Breakfast on Pluto and I fell in love with him. He plays a very, very convincing transvestite. I never realized how androgynous he was, despite his firm jawline. He's got it all. The talk, the walk, the glamour. He's excellent. I can see why he won an award for Best Actor. He did very, very well.
So now I'm hunting down other movies by him. I've got Peacock and The Wind that Shakes the Barley on my netflix list, and I'm adding more and more as we speak. Oh, and Inception, too (which I want to see not only for Mr. Murphy but because of Ellen Page, too. She rocks! I love her in Hard Candy and Juno). I'm going to need to add 28 Days Later as well...
Right. So if you're looking for another good comedy/drama to watch, I'd suggest Breakfast on Pluto. He does an excellent job and the rest of the movie is great at well. Though it might help if you brush up on your Irish political history a bit. *grins*
