So, it occurred to me, that sometimes, readers like visuals to accompany descriptions of characters. So, I'm always on the lookout for actors/actresses that resemble characters in my original fiction.

Today, I have three that I have discovered to share with you. I'll bring more soon as I discover them.

First, I found Jasper Cole! Aka, the main character and POV from the slashy urban fantasy Shady Hill that was supposed to be my NaNo fic for 2010. I've not written but seven chapters of Shady Hill, but I have posted excerpts from the fic on here.

Anyway, while watching some music videos on youtube, I found Jasper. He looks remarkably like Jared Leto. There are, of course, some key aesthetic differences since Jasper has brown eyes and Jared has blue ones, but the facial structure is what I'm aiming for here. See the pretty?

And now, for the next pretty, pretty face on our list.

Elias Grimm, otherwise known as the main character from In Darkness Dwells. I started posting this romantic, slashy, detective story on my livejournal, but stopped posting further chapters in favor of trying to get it published. Here, Ive found Elias in Goran Visnjic, whom some of you may recognize from the tv drama ER. He's a near perfect match to Elias. Especially with this expression:

And lastly, we have Zev'ryn Wyret from my fantasy trilogy, The Mimickers. The fic itself is actually a general fantasy, but Zev'ryn ends up paired with another male character (I won't say who so it will still be a surprise) so there's a bit of slash in there, too. From the moment I first created Zev'ryn, I knew that he best resembled Ewan McGregor, even before McGregor became a more familiar actor. You can blame Azar for that one. *grins*
