Announcement and Monthly Update
Sep. 3rd, 2012 12:00 amGood morning/evening friends and fans!
I just wanted to let everyone know, first and foremost, that I haven't forgotten about the flash fiction. Real Life has recently turned everything on it's head. I've gotten sick. My sister's in danger of miscarrying. I'm transferring positions with my job which includes a move to another state so I have to pack and find a new apartment (and then unpack) and figure out a budget to afford a doubled rent... so life is really busy and I haven't been able to focus on writing like I want to.
So updates are going to slow. You might see a few chapters trickle out here and there, if I've already written them or I get struck with an idea out of the blue (like I did with Shelter) but until I get settled, there will be some delays between updates and such. I estimate that it will be the end of September before things around here settle enough for me to get back in the writing groove.
I'll focus on commissions first and foremost. They are helping pay the bills so I'll focus on those first, then extend my efforts to any fics that are promised such as hit count winners/flash fiction/bigbang projects. Then after that I can try working on all of the other fics I have waiting on my to-do list.
As a result, there won't be a flash fiction Friday in September. But if everything works out, I promise it will return in October.
If I do find the time, there are several things I plan on working on in September. One of which is my story for the SuperBat bigbang. I have a plot, I have an idea, I just need to write it. I fear I may have to drop out. *fingers crossed that I won't*
I also intend to write Critical Mass, the sequel to Event Horizon, and start working on finishing up Shady Hill, which is a piece of original fiction. I have a list (about twelve) of Transformers stories that I eventually plan to write. But I don't think I'll tackle those until October.
That's all for now. I just wanted to let everyone know that if updates get sporadic, this is why. Thanks for your patience!
