New Year, New Goals

dracoqueen22Well, thank Primus that year is over. I don't know about everyone else, but 2013 was full of more downs than ups for me. I was happy to see it go. Hopefully, 2014 will go much better.
Every year, I start with a list of goals. The past few years, I've only managed to stamp complete on half of them. :( Maybe this year will be different? Just got to get up off my aft and get things done. *nods* So here's this years list!
Critical Mass, the sequel to Event Horizon, decided it's not the end of the series, but part two of three. I'm not sure what the last fic will be called, but it will tidy up the series and still run sidealong with TF:Prime canon, though I might excise a good portion of that Beast Hunters stuff. I doesn't really fit with my AU.
I know where I want to go with With Benefits, I just have to sit down and write it which requires me being in a happy, smutty mood which, sorry to say, has been absent as of late. Dealing with grief and stress kind of does that to me. All I want to do is write angst, angst, ANGST.
Turning Tables is the third and final piece in my oneshot series, Burning Bridges, my TFP RatchetxStarscream series that more or less runs under canon. Of course, being me, I'm going to deviate and go wildly AU by the end, but it's fun getting there!
One More Night is a birthday present for my brain-twin which I supposed to give last year, but since it refused to constrain itself into a short oneshot (i.e ten pages or less) and is now passing 70 pages for parts one and two of four, it's taking me a bit longer to get done. This one's gonna be epic. I hope.
And on the original front, I hope to self-publish two fics this year. Aftermath is a novel-length, fantasy fic and The Seeker is a shorter story. I need to edit, edit, edit, find cover artists, and hopefully, find a few beta-readers to look them over and point out my flaws. *fingers crossed* for that. I can pay a small fee or offer fic or work something out with any volunteers. As always, you can hop on over to my original livejournal n_wilkinson.livejournal.com for updates and free fic to read. There's lots of stuff on there. I even have a robot-themed fic I'm working on!
So that's 2014 in a nutshell.
I still plan to do Flash Fiction Fridays. And the SciFiBigBang. And the SuperBatBigBang if they have it this year. And NaNoWriMo. And snag prompts from tf-rare-pairings if any catch my interest.
I still have commissions open if anyone would like a fic from me and would like to help out a struggling artist. :) The link is in the sidebar and I'm very flexible.
