Artist Wanted

I've been searching for six weeks now for an artist to do the cover for my self-published novel so I thought I'd ask around on here if anyone knows of an artist or is an artist who takes commissions. This isn't limited to people who can create original works, but anyone who is also a whiz at photoshop and can take stock images and make them magical.
I know deviantART is the best place to go to for artists, but there's no clear way to find people who commission other than to type commissions into search and click on various commissioned artworks to see if those particular artists still take commissions. It's time-consuming and after hours of searching, I've yet to find anyone who is currently taking commissions or isn't demanding an month's rent in exchange.
So if you know of an artist, are an artist, or know somewhere else I can go post my plea, I beg of you, let me know. I offer monetary compensation, or fic compensation, or whatever-we-can-work-out compensation. I was hoping to get this out by March 1st, but since that's impossible now, I'm really hoping to get it out on April 1st.
