dracoqueen22Okay, so I haven't read the newest issue yet, just the summary on TF-Wiki but wow, oh wow.
I take it back. I thought I hated the direction they were taking with Optimus, but nope, I take it back. I take it all back. I actually love it. Why? Because he's kind of going down the same road as Bayverse Optimus except we get more backstory and explanation now as to how he's started to shift and change.
He's making all the wrong choices. He's in too deep, way over his head, he lost control and he's grasping at anything to get it back. He's compromising his own morals (the same way he accused Soundwave of doing so) in an effort to maintain them and Optimus, darling, that's not how it works, okay? But oh, I love it. I take it all back. I am so into seeing where this is going next.
But... all the feels for Soundwave, okay? All of them. First Megatron. Then Galvatron. Now Optimus? Soundwave's constantly getting used, manipulated, discarded. He wants so desperately to believe. And Optimus? That is NOT the way you convince Soundwave not all Primes are bad, mmkay? Cause you kinda just proved his point.
Megatron needs to come back to the Decepticons, grovel at Soundwave's pedes, and together, the two of them can diplomatically show Optimus the error of his ways. Ooo, I'd love to see this so very much.
Anyway, that's just my two cents. XD
