 I've been crossposting to Livejournal from Dreamwidth for years, but I think now that Livejournal has become what it is, I won't be doing so any longer. 

I'll no longer be crossposting to Livejournal. I'll no longer be updating Livejournal. I'm still debating whether or not I'll keep my account, or purge it just in case. If I decide to purge, it'll be a few months from now, just so everyone has a chance to see this message. 

Please follow me on dreamwidth, twitter, or pillowfort (if you were lucky enough to get in on beta). I'm dracoqueen22 on all of those platforms. Thanks!

I'm upset about what's happening with Livejournal too and also think about not updating it anymore. And I actually HATE that because I love LJ as a platform, its format is perfect for me and it's upsetting it's imploding in front of our eyes

Yeah, I hear you. And the more I see about what the changes mean, the more I'm leaning toward purging my journal after enough people have moved over. Because I don't like the idea of someone just scraping my journal for bits and pieces of my personal life.

It's fun. For the moment being, I'm reading all the old stuff I used to read on FFVII and Crisis Core, and Advent Children and, aha, Dirge of Cerberus.

Like, there are stories I've lost there. I hope they can be found again.

Pillowfort is currently in beta, it's a new blogging platform that was designed to be a cross between tumblr and livejournal, with all the best of both sites -- reblogging and following capabilities and a dashboard, along with livejournal type entries and a WAY better privacy setting.
