Of Progress

dracoqueen22Being sick sucks. It's so distracting and makes my writer's block even worse. Alas.
Progress. Hmmm.
Well, to be fair, I'm -->this<-- close to finishing Whispers of Yesterday. The last three chapters are on the table but my muses have up and abandoned me and the snot is clogging up my thinking pathways. I've been working daily and exclusively on it since August 3rd, I've passed 80K and I think, it's time to call this fic 'done' until the second draft.
Yep. I'm throwing in the towel. I'm calling it 'done'.
What's next?
Here in lies my dilemma. I've several things that need attending, and oh-so-little time to attend them. I know my War of the Animum fans would really, really like an update. And so would fans of The Butterfly Effect.
So... what do I have on the docket?
Here's a short, bare minimum list.
Fanfiction - Bleach - The Beautiful Lie
Fanfiction - Bleach - The Butterfly Effect
Original - Infinity's End - Untitled Azriel/Kieran Oneshot
Original - Slash - In Darkness Dwells
Fanfiction - Bleach - Renji/Ishida/Ichigo - Threeshot
Original - Slash - War of the Animum - Wolf in the Fold
and I would like to add some snippets to The Requiem of Janus universe.
For the last, I would need prompts and ideas, none of which are coming to me at the moment. I think my muses have abandoned me. *sniffle*
Now, the above mentioned are just the things that need immediate attention. They don't include the various fics that are in need of editing and rewriting. Or the ones in various stages of construction like Synesthesia which has a nice seven chapters. Or my The Mimickers saga which is halfway through the second book. Or Walking Delusions which needs a major rewrite.
I have WAY too much on my plate. lol. Bit by bit, I'm going to get this done.So if you were wondering what I'm focusing on, see the above list. I'll be so happy when I can cross just a couple of those off. *laughs*
I'll post a final word count and another teasing snippet of Whispers of Yesterday tomorrow, and the day after, there's a contest through my publisher for The Requiem of Janus that starts September 1st. I'll put more info for that on Sunday morning.
