Fanfic Rec - Harry Potter

dracoqueen22Okay, so I'm not a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter series. I'll admit to having stopped reading sometime after the fifth book. I may have read the sixth book, but I'm not sure, and I know I didn't read the seventh one. I know what happened, but dissatisfied with some of the paths JK Rowling took with the series, I never put any effort into reading the last two (three?). I've only seen the movies because a certain friend of mine dragged me to see a couple of them (you know who you are).
Nevertheless, I do get the occasional craving to read Harry Potter fanfiction. Especially that which is well-written and entertaining. Especially that which openly mocks the Harry Potter series. Especially that which has slash and humor and drama and twist-endings.
Luckily, with author Lomonaaeran, I get all of the above and more. She mostly writes HarryxDraco but also has some interesting HarryxDracoxSnape and even a HarryxLucius that just makes me go "WTF? But holy shit, I can't stop reading". She's got an LJ but I found her (or actually was recommended by a friend of mine) on fanfiction.net, yes on The Pit, so that's where I'll direct you.
Not only that, she's PROLIFIC. Seriously, I don't know how she does it, but she updates at least a chapter a day of something and the amount of fics in her archives astounds me. I thought I was prolific until I stumbled on her. Yowza.
I would recommend a specific story of hers but to be honest, all of them are good in their own rights. And she's got a wide variety to choose from. I"m particularly fond of "Building with Worn Out Tools", "Bloody but Unbowed", "Draco the Cowardly Lion", "Inter Vivos" , "Kinder, Kindler, Kindlier", "Their Phoenix," and "Sympathy for the Predators".
