Mismatched Crafts

dracoqueen22Spotlight on Samantha Betterton, who happens to be my sister and a rather good artist. I'm not just saying that because she's my sister. I've several pieces of art drawn by her both on my fanfiction website and my original fiction website. She's done pencil renditions of Jareth, Lucas, Navar, and Rivalen (from The Mimickers Series) along with a beautiful Sephiroth/Tseng picture (from Final Fantasy VII). If you see an artist credited as either kilisanbluesummer or cancerheart69, that's her.
Not to mention she has a very interesting drawing style. I love her paintings. Everything she does is by hand. Nothing is done on computer or digitally. Not only does she paint and draw with pencil, but she crafts things by hand -- magnets, frames, handbags. She has an incredible imagination.

She's trying to raise some money and I think it would really boost her confidence if someone other than family members expressed an interest in her work.
So if you're the type that likes original, handmade pieces, wander over and check her out.
Which reminds me, keep your eyes peeled in the future. I should be showing some sketches of some characters from War of the Animum and sketches of The Requiem of Janus characters Janus, Alcaeus, and Baldir as well. I'm no artist, but they're decent renditions of my characters.
