Discussion: Instant Go Back

What do I mean?
What are those things, those nit-picks, those instant turn offs that make you say "hell no" to a story before you even read it? Fanfiction and Original fiction alike, my dears.
Me? Let's start with summary. Misspellings in the summary, especially character names, instantly make me skip it. Also, Mary Sues and OCs in fandoms where they are completely unnecessary. Still, sometimes I'm full of courage and I click on it anyway.
Content wise? Overt OOC. I can't stand it. I'm sooooo picky when it comes to what I read. I tend to not even give first-person POV a chance unless it's an author I know I love. I'm also not a big fan of rape-turns-into-love plots or plots that assume all villains are rapists. I don't like angst for the sake of angst, which really bummed me out when I was reading this good story that just wouldn't keep going down hill. Alas.
Also, grammar. I know I don't have perfect grammar but I refuse to read anything that's improperly spaced, with terrible grammar and punctuation. If I have to try and interpret who is saying what or edit as I read, that's an instant back button.
Recently, I tend to avoid fics that aren't completed. Why? Because I have so many of my own plots in my head that trying to keep track of mine and then theirs (especially when updates are weeks or months apart) is just too difficult. So I wait until they are finished to read them.
Course, I have certain canon characters I avoid too. Or when the summary depicts some kind of cliche plot that I've seen time and time again. Or if it's a pairing I don't like.
Otherwise, though, I'm pretty open. I'm insanely curious, so I'll click on things I haven't read before. I love kink, I love porn. Sometimes, I just want a taste of smut, sometimes I want a long fic with an involved plot.
So... what about you? What makes you instantly hit that back button?
Oh, and this post is the second that qualifies you for the gift certificate drawing. Cheers!
