dracoqueen22 | Flash Fiction Friday (Take Nine) + Poll!

I'm of the mind that the more novels under my belt, the better, so I'm just crazy enough to challenge myself to TWO novel-writing months a year. The ever-familiar NaNoWriMo in November and then the mid-year Nano-Like event that I usually take on sometime in April or May. Well, it's April now, too late to start. But May is just around the corner.

As always, however, I just can't decide what to work on. I've too many stories I'm eager to get started, so I don't know how to choose.

Therefore, dear friends and readers, I ask you to help me. This has the added benefit of extending Flash Fic Friday past, well, Friday. *laughs*

It goes like this. Vote in the poll, leave a pairing and a prompt. Voting starts today and ends next Friday (the 15th) at midnight E.S.T. The system will only let you vote once a week this time (I'm looking at you cancerheart69).

Pairing and prompt requests can be from any fandom that I know, which includes but isn't limited to: Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, xxx-Holic, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Saiyuki, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII and VIII, and of course, any of my original works, canon-pairings not required.

And now, for your five choices (because I couldn't think of a good temporary title for the sixth therefore I didn't include it). Some titles may already be familiar to you:

The Nameless – Kele’s furious. After being blamed for something he didn’t do, he’s been exiled to the wilds of the jungle surrounding his village, forced to live on his own as punishment. There he meets Ryusai, a self-named man who left their people of his own accord after rejecting the name the elders had given him. Intrigued by Ryusai, Kele forms a friendship whose strength is tested when Kele is invited back home, but only if he agrees to completely reject his new companion.

Red Tide – The Mayans predicted the world would end in 2012. They said fire would rain down from the sky, the earth would toss, the ocean would swallow what was left. Well, they weren't entirely wrong, just off by three years. And well, by perpetrator too. Fenway supposed not even the Mayans were completely omniscient. They couldn't have predicted the Gershom that would come swooping down, snatching humans for slaves and killing the rest, keeping only enough to breed more cheap labor. They couldn't have known that Earth would be attacked and defeated in the span of the day.
