a/n: There are two versions of this fic. It was originally written for the TF Prime Gift Exchange and prompt of Dreadwing, cusp of victory. I found it fit within my Fidelis universe, but since the requestor hadn't asked for a pairing, I wrote one for the exchange and one to fit in my universe. You can read the original (v.1) here.
