Description: Starscream and Grimlock are overdue for a vacation, and it is well-earned.
As the ship rose into the air, Starscream felt as if it were leaving his cares behind.
He and Grimlock were long overdue for this vacation. It had been over a decade since Megatron was killed, and the truce established between the Autobots and Decepticons. It was a decade of long days, and longer nights, arguments and concessions, politics and yes, even battle.
Cybertron was officially on the road to recovery. Decepticon leadership was stable. Autobot leadership was stable. The Neutrals were finally being led by someone with common sense. Cybertron had stable access to energon and building supplies, and the Autobots even had a new Prime-in-training who was not at all objectionable.
Cyclonus and Deathsaurus could more than handle the Decepticons in their absence. Starscream had left his projects under Perceptor’s supervision. And none of his Seekers had yet to be sparked, so Starscream would not possibly miss any births while they were gone.
